This was a big weekend for car shows in Michigan, I chose to participate in two. Friday evening, the Water Wonderland Thunderbird Club along with the Mercury Restorers Club, were part of the Dearborn Homecoming event. We paraded into the huge carnival, and placed our cars on show. The mayor came by and had his picture taken with each car after which he handed out blue ribbons. I was shocked when YLO BRD won for Best Thunderbird 1980 thru 2002. I can see how car shows can get addicting. Saturday we were part of Hellofacruise in Hell Michigan. There were over 400 cars that participated, most of them were beautiful classics. After a very....hot day, everyone cruised from a Holy Spirit Church in Brighton to Hell for ice cream. There were hundreds of people lining the streets to cheer us on, all in all, a fun weekend!

Way to go Joanne. Never thought about you going to Hell. Wouldn't surprise me if some of us did, but you? I don't think so.

Congrats, Joanne!

It's too bad that it wasn't a cold day in Hell, or else you might've won there too. :smilegrin

I think my car would've had a snowball's chance in Hell on a hot day..........

And here I thought the only Hell on earth was on the west end of Grand Cayman Island??

Thanks everyone, I think I'm getting hooked on these car shows. This weekend is Mustang Memories, all Mustangs will be judged and all others are popular vote, they expect over 400 cars to attend.
Ray, I wish I could post a picture but, I have this webtv and posting pictures is not an option.
Some day, I'll get a real computer.
Bob, Actually, I would have enjoyed the company of you and Norma but not the competition of that gorgeous red bird, I wouldn't have had a chance in hell against you.
The Hell cruise was interesting, the car show was nice, there were lots of great cars there but, the cruise was disorganized. I think I got spoiled with such great cruises at Thunder Fever. In Hell, there were cars coming from everywhere and no structured line up, we were lucky there wasn't an accident. Yes Karyl, Hell does have ice cream in fact, the place is call Scream Ice Cream!
