All Thunderbird Day

The Water Wonderland Thunderbird Club of Michigan will be sponsoring "All Tbird Day" this Sunday, September 11th from 10 until 4. The location is Wilson Barn at the corner of Middlebelt and West Chicago in Livonia. If your in the area, bring your bird, and join GoldenT, Thundrb, Godfather, dafins, Ylo Brd, maybe Steve Legel and others. The weather shows sun, and a wonderful day for a show. Looking forward to seeing you all there.

Steve, Glad to hear that you'll be at the show with your beautiful Dusk Rose bird. It will be nice to see you again.

Dennis will be our official photographer and I'm sure will get lots of great shots of the Godfather Roadster. I'm really anxious to see it myself.

Joe, Eat you heart out, you know I do this just to bug you! You know I'm just kidding you buddy, we wish you were closer to take part in a lot of these events. You'll have the last laugh because our season in nearing the end and we'll have to put our birds away in their nests for the winter.

What about the rest of our local TBN members, Alan, Chris, etc. join us on Sunday if you can.

We are paying almost $5.00 US / Gal.
Canada is sending products to Mighigan and crude to keep the Chicago refineries running.

Our price in Canada was increased with Katrina storm aftermath to lower demand, in an effort to send more south!

Canada is pumping 200,000 BBld / day of crude to Chicago over and above the 500,000 Bbls / day of crude and product we normally send.

Glad to hear from everyone and it will be great to see Patricas beautiful silver bird again. Dennis, sorry you can't make it, you were one of the members that I was thinking about and hoped to see. Chris, do some convincing with Sandy, you don't want to miss seeing the Godfather Roadster is person! Globird, if your reading this, was that your merlot last night at Leather Bottle? I looked for you and was going to ask if you and Gloria could make the show.

We had a great day. Joanne won 1st in class with her Inspiration Yellow, while Tony and Patricia took home 2nd with their Silver with ghost flames and hard tonneau. I did not hear who won 3rd... if it was a member, please post the name here. I got pics of the 1st and 2nd placers with plaques, and will try to post if I can figure out the changes that have occured here. I don't know if I have uploading privileges yet.

Chris, Thanks for posting the results, it indeed was a fun day with 19 retro birds showing up. The 3rd place winner was not a TBN member, he was driving a 2005 Bronze. Those of you that missed the show, the Godfather Roadster was a site to see. It drew lots of attention from everyone, hopefully Chris or someone else will have pictures they can share with everyone.

Joanne we were up there on the 7th, must of been inside eating. We wanted to go to the Show on, but we had other commitments. Hopefully we will make it up to Leather Bottle this Wednesday.
