I live in Pembroke Mass. Just got my bird 2 months ago. Brand new 04, light ice blue metallic. Love everything about it. Would like to meet other New England members and see other birds. Already looking at stuff to get for it but am aprehensive.

Welcome Nick,

You will have a great time here and will meet a lot of wonderful people. Not a lot going on as far as meetings go as many people are starting to put their cars away for the winter. First meeting of next year will be at the Ford V8 show at the Fitchburg Airport in mid-April. Most people will go up there for the weekend and stay over. You can check our past gatherings in this forum (New England Chapter).

Look forward to meeting you in the future.

Wes

BTW--love that color bird--very limited too!!!!

Welcome Nick,

Good to have another New Englander on board! As Wes stated above, most of our cars will be going bye-bye for the winter shortly. But our group is pretty active in gatherings throughout the spring, summer and fall months so you'll get lots of opportunities to join us in the fun.

Keep an eye on the New England Chapter forum next spring for the Fitchburg show Wes mentioned. It's a great gathering and a super kick-off to the summer cruising season.

P.S. Some of us have done quite a few mods to our cars, so you'll get the chance to see those first hand.

Thanks for the quick reply, Wes. Your bird looks awsome. How is that chrome strip working on the back cowling to protect the roof from scratching. I saw on this site that there is a 3m product. I am leaning toward that. I had it installed on my front end when I bought the car and am very impressed with it.

Wow, Dino, I guess you have done some stuff to that beautiful blue bird. I love that color too. Looking forward to the spring. Next month I join my brother at the "Turkey Rod Run" at the Daytona Speedway over Thanksgiving weekend. My car will be in the garage up here but he always has something to show there so I rent a Toyota Carola at the airport, park it at his house and cruise with him in his car.Welcome Nick,

My goodness Bruce, two absolute beauties. Love those mats, and that metal stack looks very nice. Taking mine out for one last good cruise this afternoon. Forgot the Patriots are playing at 4_00. Meeting a couple of friends at Bella Restaurant in Glendale RI. Never been but they have good taste. We meet them every couple of months at Wrights Farm in Harrisville fir a "chicken feed". Ever been?Hi Nick and welcome to the Nest. Its alway nice to add another bird to our NE Chapter. Get your bird ready for the first gathering in Fitchburg in April.

That's great, George, thank you. I want to go to Fitchburg, so I will need the dates. Like that logo on your porthole, looks sharp. Chrome around the rear license plate mount is a nice touch. Haven't seen that before. I gotta tell ya, chrome and polished black is hard to beat.Welcome Nick; Look forward to meeting you. Looking forward to it Bob. Hookset have any flooding problems with all this rain? We are fine here but some of our neighboring towns are having problems. I see you don't have any pictures posted. Me either but I have some pictures I use for my screen saver. I think I will post them first chance I get.

Nick, I live on a mountain in Hooksett so the rain was not a problem. I have a vacation home in Hillsboro though and the bridge has been washed out and I have no way to visit and see if there is any damage. Thanks for asking.

Hi Nick...welcome to our group!...I'm one of the two guys from Canada that George (MATbird) was talking about! It will be nice to have a new Thunderbird enthusiast joining us next year, and you're going to be the first one in our group to have a Light Ice Blue 'Bird... I'm looking forward to meeting you and looking at your car..(I've never seen a Light Ice Blue in ''person''...!)
I, like Wes, also have the rear deck stainless steel strips to protect the paint, and I've put both my hard tops on and off at several occasions this year, and the paint never had a mark on it...I think it's a good improvement...
Well, that's it for now...'bye!

Hi Claude, thanks for the feedback. I am certainly looking forward to the spring and getting together with some fellow enthusiasts. You put the skirts on I see. Looks very nice. I came very close to purchasing an 02 blue but it didn't quite work out. I never saw an ice blue before this one and really fell in love with it. The black and white interior is a nice touch on it too I think. I will post some pictures pretty soon.Hi Nick...welcome to our group!...I'm one of the two guys from Canada that George (MATbird) was talking about! It will be nice to have a new Thunderbird enthusiast joining us next year, and you're going to be the first one in our group to have a Light Ice Blue 'Bird... I'm looking forward to meeting you and looking at your car..(I've never seen a Light Ice Blue in ''person''...!)

Hi Nick, welcome to the group. I am also new to the group and look forward to meeting you and the rest of the group at Fitchburg in the spring I couldn't make it last year but will definitely be there this time. I have a 2005 medium steel blue with sand accent and top and sand soft boot cover. Great bunch of people here and loads of info.

Lenny,

Looking forward to seeing you at Fitchburg show. I would really like to see a light ice and a medium steel side by side as I can never tell the difference beween the two due to short color memory span.

It would also be nice if we could find someone with an Inspiration to park next to Bruce's Inca.

Wes

Thanks for the message. I didn't make it last year because I had just got the car
and was'nt aware of it till it was to late and had made other commitments. Now I
know it's happening I will plan around it. I don't have all the mods that you guys have except for QAA rear deck protection and Drivers seat floor mats and QAA
birds on my tail lights, which are coming off, but thats another story. Am looking
forward to spring to get more involved with all the events. Thanks

Hello from the witchcity and welcome to TBN. The New England Chapter is a great bunch to associate with.

If the streets are clear this winter i'll take my bird out just to torment the rest.
Look forward to meeting you soon. Let us know what the crusie nights will be on the south shore next year.
