There are more Cruise Nights, but these are the one I have verified so far. Let me know if you have any to list and I will insert them in the list.

Hi Wes,

I had dinner at Kitty's in North Reading Friday night. Outside, doing, you know what, a stream of classic cars came up Route 62 from the Middleton/Lynnfield direction. It was starting to get dark out, so I'm assuming they were leaving, not in route. There was a guy outside, doing, you know what, and said there was a show every Friday night, but for the life of him, he couldn't remember where.

He also mentioned Fudrucker's on Thursday's, but I think that was changed to Village Green?

Barbara,
Nicky-the-Squid and I went to School House Ice Cream in Burlington yesterday. Not a lot of cars, but a couple of interesting ones:

A very mint Torch Red '57 Bird that was all stock except for a totally chromed out, supercharged engine.

A drab looking 80's Volvo station wagon with an over-the-top, nitrous oxide powered engine (what was that guy thinking?)

The best part...the place gave us free ice cream.

Fudrucker's in Saugus is not on the list for Thursday because last year they went to a 25 years old or later policy due to problem with space. They made us park in the strip-mall next door with all the commoners. I'll stop by there someday on the way home from work to see if things have changed.

Village Green in Danvers is still Tuesday nights. What happened to Marvin with the white '02 we met their last year? Did we lose touch with him?

Wes

Free Ice Cream's good!

Ran into a problem getting the boat in the water....actually, the boat went in fine, just a heck of a time to find out the truck's 4 wheel drive wasn't working....had to be pulled out. Tried calling you, but the reception was lousy up there.

I don't know what happened to Marvin, is he a member here, or was he just driving by?

Come to think of it, I saw some 50's vintage Chevy's and a few Vettes, now I'm wondering if it was a Chevy show. If Liberty Tree is a go, I'll ask some of the Vette owners if they know about Friday nights and who's invited.

Barbara and I went to the Liberty Tree Mall cruise night today.

There we met up with Dianne, new owner of a triple black 2003, and second women to join our New England group. She is from the North Shore and will be registering shortly when she picks a screename.

I am back home, so let me know any night you are going to Kimballs and I'll see if I can arrange to go. Just getting home , things are kinda disrupted

Hi George,

Glad that you're back and no flood.

I might be going to the Village Green in Danvers on Tues and Liberty Tree Mall in Danvers on Wed this week. Kimball's doesn't start until June 1.

Took a cruise today into Boston to the the largest cruise ship in the world in port there...Royal Caribbean's "Freedom of the Seas".

Wes, I can't tell from your picture. Is it bigger than the Tilton diner?

Bob, my car always seem to gravitate towards places that are serving food.
Or is it just me?

Good Thing!....or I never would have met you or found out about this club!!

Keep eating!!

We just met a wonderful couple at the Village Green cruise today. Roger (RogerMills) and his wife Terry are from the Boston area and just recently purchased their 2005 MSB new. Although they have only had it for a short time, Roger has already installed the Borla's and a chrome hoodscoop.
Imagine his surprise when, on the first time he takes the car out to show it off, he takes the 3rd place trophy on Ford night. He looked truely shocked.

:omg:

Congrats Roger.

I was surprised that, when they went to leave the show, Terry got into the drivers seat. They are the only New England members that are co-drivers of a Bird.

I guess Terry and Roger have already caught the T Bird bug and are ready to go to their next cruise night.

The weather should be clearing just in time for Skip's Drive-In cruise night in Merrimac, Ma. at 4PM this Saturday (06/10/06). Big show with up to 300 cars, fat hamburgers, curly fries, and thick or extra thick frappes.

I'll be there too. Who else wants to go?
