Hello, Just joined in tonight. Wanted to say hello. Am thinking about the Thunder Valley Trip. Sounds like lots of fun. It would be close for me and I try to find any excuse to drive my new TBird. Bought it Valentine's day and had to leave it parked for two weeks before I could even drive it. Major snow storm. Mine's an 02 as you can see. Didn't want an 03, had several on the lot. Wouldn't have anything else but the Thunderbird Blue. Also wanted to have the year they came back out. Had an 87 XLT and wish I still had it. It was my dream car then (as this one is now). Matter-of-fact, my 02 Bird is the first new car I've bought since then (well not exactly true but the first one for myself). Love this site, have already learned lots of good info from here. Have been haunting this site for a week or better before I decided to drop in.

Welcome to TBN from one of your neighbors here in Northern VA. We're about 20 minutes west of you between Clifton and Centreville.

Definitely give the Thunder Valley event some serious consideration, we're going because it's so close, looks like about a six hour drive. Last year's TBN main event was in Florida, so we couldn't make it that far, but I got the video and it was something not to be missed. And another event in planning for Fall '03 looks to be on the Gulf coast in Alabama, again a long trip for those in VA.

Also, good choice on your color...
