Daij,
I asked Justin to create this for us so that we can all keep in touch and easily find NE related topics (got the idea from MA Tbird
). I'm hoping that this will encourage more of the owners in our area to participate in future gatherings. I'm thinking it would be great if we could all get together sometime in May. From what I can tell, the majority of you are in MA, so I'm certainly willing to come up there (We lived in MA for 17 years). Let's see if we get some feedback from the others.

I am hanging out in the Boston area with my cat and my blue bird for a few more weeks. I am on call from 9-9 every day but that doesn't stop me from making plans. I would love to participate in a New England gathering soon.

Me too. There's a show the 4th of July (or thereabouts) every year here in Pittsfield at the beautiful Hillcrest hospital campus on Onota lake. Jim W.

I did a survey of the members list (think I need to get a life?) and found 14 in all of New England! Only 8 in MA, 5 in CT and 1 in ME. Of course that's only those that filled in their 'location' on their profiles.
If You have not updated your profile let us know who you are so you can be contacted. I can't believe there's none in NH, VT or RI.
I think it would be great to meet together. May is bad for me since Jan and I are leaving for Aruba on the 5th and won't be back until the 21st.
If anyone wants the list of names in NE let me know and I'll send them so you could PM them.
By the way, there are also 12 members in NY, so you may want to include them as well.
Great to have a New England area to post. Daij, next time you see those birds out there, give them a card or the TBN address.

Jim,
I think the show in July would be great if it fits with everyone's schedule. By that time George will be back and Centennial will be a memory. Please keep us informed on any updates.

George,
Please send me the list (including the New York owners).

Hey Guys-

I found out that the Ford Centennial Tent Tour is supposed to be coming to the Museum of Transportation in Brookline on 5/29 (a Thursday, unfortunately). I'm going to call the museum tomorrow and see what the story is. I'm not sure if any of you have ever been there, but it is a beautiful setting, I've seen many car shows there. Might be a chance for us to get together for a few hours. I'll let you know what I find out.

George, you'll be back by then, right?

Dino:
Yes I'll be back before the 29th. If it's on that Thursday I'll be there. Since I may miss most of the posts for the 2 weeks I'll be away, please send me a PM to confirm it. It would be great if Kokomo (Jimmy) could be there also.

I should be able to make it. I am on call every day so Thursday is as good as any other day for me. Standing by for more details...

Have you confirmed that the Ford Centennial Tent will be in Boston on the 29th? I am available and I think that Jimmy Fitz (kokomo) is still in town as well. It would be great to go there, you and I could meet somewhere and I dcould follow you.
If there's a way to re-name this file, it should be located as a NE (new england) file. Can Ranger or Dot or David A help?

Ma TBird,
I found out that this was an invitation only event :bawl:

(I started another thread under the NE Group heading addressing this).

BTW...How was your trip? Great to have you back!

Sorry to hear that the Boston centennial was by invitation only - very disappointing. I'll check out the NE posts.
On a lighter note, my two weeks in Aruba was great! Bad weather since I returned though.

I think I may be the only one in the Ocean State, but at least one RI T-Bird is alive and well (if consigned to top up driving for the Memorial Day weekend because the weather).

Dave,
I'm always up for it, as most of us New Englanders will be. What do you have in mind?
