Alright... so you buckled and finally joined our site... but dont know where to get started with all the features we offer... This should be able to help you and answer and questions that you may have. So Enjoy.
If you havent done so yet... you need to confirm your email address. After registering, an email is dispatched to the email address provided at registration by you that contains a link to help you confirm that address. If you do not confirm your email address, you will continue to have no posting rights as well as the other rights that a full blown member has. If you think you entered an invalid or incorrect email address, or you never received the email confirmation, please contact the webmaster,by clicking here. (contact@thunderbirdnest.com)
From here you should revisit your control panel and double check that everything entered is correct and complete. Note that some fields are optional and these do not need to be completed, but are sometimes enjoyed by members that view your profile. Your email address will never be shown through your profile nor distributed within the website unless you are the distributor. To do the above... click the Quick Links and then profile at the top of the screen and select edit profile. When you are completed with that, you can click the edit options tab to edit your membership options.
Alright... now that we have gotten past that standard crap... heres where the fun starts. From here you should do the following but it doesnt matter which order.
1) Add Your Thunderbird To The Registry - To add your vehicle the registry, simply click Extras at the top of the screen and select Car Registry. When viewing this screen, select Add New Car. Fill in all the information correctly and click submit. If you have more than one Thunderbird, you will need to repeat this process to add a second one to the registry and so on. Your vehicle will now be a part of our extensive registry sorted by VIN number.
2) Create Your Gallery - Too Create your gallery on TBN, simply click Gallery at the top of the screen. From here you will be able to view the gallery. If you select Upload Photos, this will help you get your gallery started. Everything is preconfigured for you... once you upload your first photo your gallery will be set up for everyone to view. You can then repeat the process to continue to add to your collection. Having your own gallery also grants you permission to enter in the monthly vote for Thunderbird of the Month (pending that you have at least 3 photos in your gallery).
3) Introduce Yourself - Thats what this "New Members" forum is all about. Make it your first post if you like, but introduce yourself to your new friends. You will always receive a warm welcome no matter what. To do this... click the New Members at the top of this thread or after opening the new members forum. This will allow you to add a new thread to the forum for everyone to view.
