Okay, so maybe at 41 I'm not a new kid. But I sure feel like one when behind the wheel of my new '03 T-Bird. I actually traded in an Audi allroad for this beauty, so the change is quite dramatic. I can't wait to get it out on the road! Just a quick note here to say hi to all you other T-Bird owners, especially if you're in the Northeast. Is it me, or are these cars very rare up here? (I'm in RI....)

Definitely welcome tbirdken and that smile on your face won't be going away anytime soon. These beautiful birds are not common species anywhere. I posted once on a thread how I also drive an Explorer (still have it, the dogs need a ride you know). I sometimes walk up to the wrong one in a parking lot. But it's an occasion when you meet a new tbird on the road.
Have fun with your beautiful new car and check in here often. There's a wealth of information and fellowship here.

Welocme the the best TBird forum aropund. We have been enjoying our cars for a while....but it is always refreshing to hear from a 'new kid on the block'.
The car is great....try to come to some of the events we schedule from time to time....read all about Thunderbirds in Thunder Valley which is next week.
And , most of all, enjoy your new car.

Welcome, you are not the only "old" kid on the block. As you can see from my TBN name--that is how old I was when the 55's were new. Enjoy the new bird and TBN:wavey: :tbn:

Tbirdken:
Welcome, these birds are very rare in some areas of the country - especially where I am in WV! You will find this to be a very helpful but somewhat crazed bunch of people! Can't wait to meet some of them at our next event - Thunder Valley.
This car makes us all feel like a kid again with an "egg crate" grin!

Hello from Mass - just over the line from you in Providence. Will have to try and get together - lots of car events coming up this summer.
Where did you get your Bird? Yes, there are not many on the road as a rule in our area, but a lot of the dealers are loaded with anywhere from 2 to 8 cars. It's going to take some warmer weather, I think, to get those birds sold and out there.

Welcome tbirdken!!
I know what you mean! I'll be 45 in two weeks and I feel like I'm on top of the world when I'm out in the Bird.
Glad to see another New Englander. I'm in CT, but travel to Providence every Wednesday for business meetings. Perhaps we could hook up some time. I'd like to add you to a NE registry I've put together. What color is your bird, hard top and interior??
You're going to love it here!

I'm really enjoying all the waves and thumbs up from people on the highway. And I really appreciate the hellos here in the forum!!!
2birdblue..., I picked mine up from Harr Ford for 1% over invoice. They were able to give me what I needed to trade-in an Audi allroad (a very nice vehicle in its own right). Boy, what a difference!
BlueHeaven: Please do add me to the registry. I have the Premium model (with hardtop), both mountain shadow gray. Interior is the black with the partial black accent. And yes, we'll have to say hi sometime in Providence. I won't be hard to spot, as I think I'm the only one in the city with one! lol

I'll be thinking of you this winter when I'm driving with the top down, tunes basting, 70 deg outside and on my way to Vegas!!

Thanks Tbird-Tim-in-CA! And I'll be more than happy to send you pix of my poor frozen T-Bird in the ice and snow up here. Ugh, after the winter we had, perish the thought!!!!. I'll be driving top down until the ice begins to build up on the inside. LOL!
