Got a call back from the Museum of Transportation this afternoon. It turns out that the Tent Tour on the 29th is invitation only, not open to the public. She did give me a gentlemen's name at Ford to contact if enough of us are interested in going. His name is Bill Collins and he can be reached at 212-265-2794.
She also told me that the Museum is holding Vintage Ford Day on 9/7, and they are now opening it up to the newer models, so we could attend (our cars would not be judged, it's more of a fun get together then anything else).
