Jim...bought my 02 Bluebird from Bell Ford in Phoenix in April 02...live in Glendale...since you're coming down by way of GC, if you have time, go over to Winslow and see the LaPosada resort...it's VERY retro.
When my wife & I went there last year, a photographer was up there doing a shoot on the resort and took sometime with us talking about the TBird.
And, welcome aboard!

Jim,
If time permits, stop in Salt Lake City and tour the Morman Tabernacle. It is a neat tour and not far off the freeway.
In southern Utah, go to Bryce Canyon or Zion or both if you can. Good photo opportunities in both. And take the extra 2 hours for the drive to the North Rim of the Grand Canyon. (I've never been there) And you have to do the loop through the south rim. I'm sure you've been to Sedona, but it's a nice drive down Oak Creek Canyon into Sedona from Flagstaff. More good photo ops in the canyon.
Have a good trip!!!!!!!

Welcome and enjoy your new car. it is the most fun, enjoyable, and eye catching car I have ever owned....most people here agree with that.
Looks like you people in Arizon and Southern Cal. have a big enough group to put toether a fun gathering. You all have so much w to work with there in terms of neat and interesting places to go.
Good luck.

JimInAZ: While you're up in Montana -- you have to go to Yellowstone, and also Glacier is a must see. If you'll never get back up there -- you MUSt go this trip since you'll be so close. While in Yellowstone, don't forget to go to the Little Big Horn (Custer's Last Stand) and also Mt. Rushmore. These are absolute musts if you're so close anyway. Remember too Jackson Hole, WY.
One last recommendation is to take the NorthEast exit out of Yellowstone and drive Beartooth Pass. This is probably one of the most scenic and beautiful rides in the country.
I'd recommend that you spend most of your time up in that area --the possibilities are endless. Enjoy the RIDE!!!!:pbj:

JimInAz,
While in southern Utah, you must view Lake Powell. It is the most desolate, beautiful area.
Enjoy the ride and enjoy the T-bird!!

Lake Powell is by far the Ultimate water lovers paradice hands down. Unforchantely the lake is 1/2 empty at the present time. Lake when full is 185 miles long with 1,800 miles of shoreline. Shear cliffs of 300' and more tower over your head. Depth at dam when full is nearly 700'.
