The Pitt Birds enjoyed participating in several of the PVGP events. Members dodged the rain while enjoying races at Beaver Run. Luckily we took our daily drivers. We had great representation at the Waterfront Cruise on a warm and sunny Tuesday evening. The dozen Thunderbirds really stood out among the 600 plus classic cars. Several members participated in the downtown parade and plaza display on a sunny Wednesday afternoon. The Pitt Birds annual picnic was another great event. This is always our most attended event and it was a good time to catch up with old friends, exchange stories, and enjoy great food. We presented a spectacular display of Thunderbirds; however the real display was the picnic buffet that was the envy of the PVGP event. The picnic continued on Sunday. This was a more relaxed day where members enjoyed a second day of car shows, vintage racing and good food.
