is almost over - 1 year 3 months & 3 days. It (the car in my avatar) finally made it to Dallas (Mesquite) today. dispatcher said it would reach the dealership tonight so it will be in our hands tomorrow.
We're going to the dealership tonight for a vigil - waiting for the transport to arrive - with camera in hand. Still may not see it if the hauler shows up after hours - we do have to sleep sometime.
Now to figure out who gets to drive it first! Better gussy up my daily driver so it won't look so bad against a new car. :)

Congrats :pbj::pbj::pbj::pbj: It's PARTY TIME!
You deserve it after waiting so long. But at least you got to drive one on the Mystery Cruise, we missed that. The first one we drove was ours on delivery day.
Tell George "Ladies First!" Works at my house, but maybe I'm just a pushover for my wife. Perhaps you could compromise. Let him drive it around the lot, and you drive it home. Sounds fair to me. :lol:
Don't forget your favorite CD. I expect a report very soon.

Thanks! Still don't know who will drive first. George will have to show up at work but we want to pick the car up before 3pm as our salesman, Caneh, (who's waited just as long) wants to be there when the keys are handed over. so that means we have to have the deal completed by 3 - that's when Caneh is leaving on vacation. Caneh said I can be there by 8:30am to watch them prep the car. He's given them instructions to hold off on the prep til we (or I) arrive.
Gobird sent us a nice CD he put together - songs we like so that CD will be with us tomorrow. Nothing like "THunderbird" songs for the drive home.

So much for ladies first. George was the lucky one, wonder how many more time he will get to drive it?

George is a cad! But then again, he has a legitimate excuse: "Temporary Bird Insanity". I suffer from it often.
Picking it up from Town East Ford?

jasfrmn(Jason), check my website and click on the "IT"SHERE" to read about my car. We picked it up from Don Davis Ford in Arlington. I put that on that page but you have to read it to find it.

George got to drive it home as some have alluded to above. Biggest grin on his face!! Just like when he's had too much to drink. Guess this car is intoxicating. He had trouble sleeping the night before we picked it up. I didn't know he had it that bad!
