Hi all,
My wife and are are owners of a 1 month old Desert Sky Blue Premium w/white partial. Also we have a restored 1964 Blue Hardtop that I bought her for Christmas a year ago. She had an accident with her 64 a month before we were married in 1974 so now I am replacing it. Other cars inclue a 2002 Audi A4 quattro & 2002 Lexus ES300. We love to drive the T-Birds! I am amazed at the number of heads that are turned by our Thunderbirds when Corvettes, etc. attract little attention.
We are located in Northern Indiana "Amish" Country. Already have picked up much useful information from the forum.

In 1973 I almost ran into an Amish man driving a horse and buggy on US 218.

It has to be, as thats our Amish country near 218 !!

Hi KD0QVwxyzabc,
Yes, I was driving southwest from Ia City with the sun in my eyes, going over a hill at 70 mph and, in an instant, there's the one horse(power) buggy in front of me...:cul:
I skidded into a soft snowbank and the horse :cul: jumped and then dropped a few road apples:cul: on the highway. No damage, just a scared horsie and two shaken drivers
