Dear Nest people: I learned of your site last week at a local car show. I have owned and enjoyed my t/b immenseley since the purchase last year.All that can be said is let the people who insist that Ford made a mistake on the Bird be proven wrong by owners of this fine example of car fun and beauty. I am a retired Ford Guy who loves cars. I own a 72 Pantera since new and have drag raced always and write a tech column for Muscle Mustangs and Fast Fords Magazine/Ask Bernie. Dear Nest Universe: Thank you for my intro to this great site. The return threads were great. I will admit to being a 35 yr Ford employee on the Tech side as a Service Training Instructor and the last 20 yrs as a Field Service Engineer in the New York Region.I am a certified trained Ford Lifer. Bernie - Welcome from another Ford retiree. I loved every minute of 32 years with the Parts and Service operations of Ford, mostly in Livonia/Dearborn (Product planning, accessories, market research, Product Management) but the last 10 in Atlanta (DOM). (No David, that doesn't stand for Dirty Old Man).

The thing I miss most, especially with this site, is that I don't have access to the Intranet for Ford to get information. Have to go bug my old buddies in the dealerships to get info.

Looking forward to your insights here. We are never short on opinions, just facts. You will be able to point us to the "Light", I'm sure. Duane
