First I want to say HELLO! Just purchased a Tourch Red on Red '03. It has the Red & Black int and 12,500mi. I have a problem re: the hood, everything lines up with the fenders but there is a 3/4" gap between the Hood & grill? I have looked in the engine compartment and under the car for any signs of it being wrecked. It looks good! I even looked at all the bolts to see if there is any paint scratched off and "looks good". Checked Car Fax and nothing! Could the front bumper and grill possably need to adjust upward? Any ideas. Thanks a lot, hope someone can help! Should the body shop be next???Scriv! (Indiana)
Have you compared the gap on your car to the gap on other Birds? Go to the gallery and look at the photos posted there. All Birds have a gap, and yours is probably normal.

Thanks Ray, I parked next to an '03 last evening and there seemed to be a big difference between his and mine. I looked at the gallery and the gap on mine does look greater than those in the pictures. I guess I'll check out some others. Thanks again!Scriv

You may try lowering the two stops, under the hood with rubber caps on them, and see if that works.
Just in case it doesn't, count how many turns you turn them so you can put them back where they were.
