Our second MCCNE show of the season.

Sunday August 9th

For those that have never attended, this is an all day judged show with trophies given out at the end. You must bring a fire extinguisher in your car.

You can pre-register, but it is not necessary and you can pay at the gate.

Since Chuck is coming out the day before the show, I thought we "locals" could get together on the Saturday before the show (Chuck will need some cheering up after he witnesses the Sox beat the Yank-ees in New York on Friday night).

Street food vendors and live entertainment. This is always a great time and not to be missed.

If we can get Chuck to show up earlier in the day, we might head out to Fenway beforehand to watch some of the Saturday afternoon Sox / Yankees game at a sports bar next to Fenway.

Even earlier than that (11:00 AM), we could actually go to Fenway to attend the "Futures at Fenway" game (double-A Portland Sea Dogs vs. Bowie Bay Sox). Tickets are limited.

For anyone who is just going for the day of the show we will be driving by the Hampton Inn in Marlborough, Ma on the way to the show and if that is closer for you, we will pick you up there at 8:40 AM before we go to the show in Shrewsbury, Ma.

We are going into Boston on Saturday. I'm sure that you aren't going to take your car out of the trailer in Worcester and drive into Boston to park it in a parking garage there. Everyone else lives in the Boston area, so we would have to drive out to Worcester to pick you up and bring you back.

On Sunday morning, based on where most people are coming from (except Lee and Dennis) Woburn and Marlborough are the easiest to get to and Worcester is the worst.

We almost wimped because of last nights forecast, but this morning, decided to go for it! No rain, yeah! A lot of speeding to beat out rain clouds which we did! Made it home safe and sound. Put the Inca and PJ away in the storage garages where we left the Saab for a ride home. Five minutes into the ride home can the rain, just a light rain but it would have been enough to mess up both cars.
It was a good time, we enjoyed seeing everyone as usual and having a Birthday celebration for Nicky.

It was good to see everyone again and meet some new friends.

Made it home without rain. Driving home i noticed some spots i missed incleaing up the bird. Have to pay attention to the details.

Barbara and I had a wonderful time. Thank you everyone for celebrating my day. Wish you could have been there Sweet. It's only half a celebration unless you are there too.
We got to introduce our dog to the group and she seemed to fit in nicely.
