Orlando Monthly Dinner Cruises?????

Hello Orlando Area T-Birder's!
After a week of reflecting on the amazing Poker Run last weekend. I already can't wait until the next event. Which got me thinking... Why do we have to wait? (hang on Tom - don't have a coronary!):worshippy:worshippy
What I am thinking is - why can't we have a monthly Dinner Cruise? We can pick a day, like say the first Friday or Saturday of each month and all meet for dinner with our 'Birds?
We can decide collectively through TBN where it will be each month (somewhere centrally located in the Orlando Metro area). We can just meet for dinner and Bird Talk!
Anyone else interested?

My wife and I would be interested,we may not be able to attend every meeting because we are also in the Orlando Disneyane Fan Club but we would attend when we could.

If it were on a Sat.. I might consider coming up from West Palm from time to time. Only a couple of hours drive.

This is an old post and Rick hasn't been on since May, so the original organizer may not be available any more. Doesn't mean we can't get somthing started. Count Sandy and me in.

Start planning. If the holidays are too busy a time, you could announce the first one to occur after the first of the year. It will take a while to figure it all out anyway. You have the list - - poll the members to see what day is preferred.

This idea never got off the ground. Too bad.

Today however, a group of us (29 people) got together for breakfast at the Mill in De Leon Springs. Great day - we caravaned for an hour up a back country road & then cooked our own pancakes on grills at our tables. Fun day.

We agreed that we need to do more of that - small groups. mini-cruise, informal.

Meanwhile, Sharon & Wilton, come and join us on April 16th at THUNDER ZOO in Sanford. Check out the thread under "coming events". We have 33 cars signed up so far.
