saw a new 2004 today

The new 2004 bird is great. I went to see what i was told would
be a fix to the top sitting on the paint. I hear about a new plastic
strip the color of the car that the top would sit on that would
protect the paint. I wanted to see if it would be available
to put on the 03 model. The car i saw did not show any protective
strip it looked like the o3. Maybe this car was not fitted with
the fix. I did like two things. The new map light and garage
door opener above the windshield look great. The new wheels
look like the 50's. They have a big white plastic ring round
the center on the chrome spokes with the work Ford twice
printed on the plastic ring. It sure does look like the 50's however
i wish they would have spelled thunderbird not Ford.
They also painted lines on the stainless steel dash trim. The lines
look ok however i like the dash as well in the o3 model.
The color i saw was red with white top and it was to die for.
I wish I could get the 04 however my budget is at 33 or 34.
I saw the new f-150 extended cab and the new truck has
a lot more leg room in the jump set are plus windows that
go down for the back seat passangers Ford built a good looking
truck. Now I want them both and can only buy one what a
delima.

well you're looking at two completely different types of cars. i would decide what you need and then look at prices. a 2-seat roadster vs a truck is a pretty big difference.
