We are still in the planning stages of a summer day cruise. Here is what we have so far. Date -Sat.- July 17(.Block the date out now-tell the kids not to get married that week-end,you are busy!LOL. We will assemble at the Renton Starbucks on Grady Way at 10AM. From there we will cruise to the town of Snoqualmie.(30 minutes drive)We will spend approx. 1 to 2 hours in Snoqualmie sight seeing and taking an optional old fashioned train ride to the falls and back.Others can drive to the falls to the observation deck..From there we will cruise on HWY 202 to the Red Hook Brewery in Woodinville for lunch and a tour. ( 45 minute drive) Nice back roads to put your foot in it (if you know what I mean!! ) If you are interested in joining us let me know with a P.M. or e-mail or any other creative way. Hope to hear from as many as possible in the near future. And thanks George and Jane Irwin for your input and the many others who had suggestions.

Sounds GREAT!
Count us in, unless we get a very early start we probably will catch up at Snoqualmie Falls.

Would like to join you all and a tentative yes. I'm new to the area having retired from the other Washington and now living in bueatiful Port Orchard overlooking the Sound on one side and the Olympic range on the other. It doesn't get any better than this.

Graygator,
Welcome to Washington State! It is a great place to live. Moved here from So. Cal 32 years ago thinking it would be a just a 5 year job re-lo and haven't been able to find a better place to live so we are staying put.

We're on the eastside down in the southern eastern most corner, just 30 miles from the Oregon border. We are in the wine growing and tasting center with over 200 wineries within 60-80 mile circle.

if you are ever over this way look us up. See you at this summer's cruise,
take care

Sounds good!
I might catch up with everyone at the falls also unless you want to stop by my house and get me on your way! :)

Sounds like fun. I am unfamiliar with that area. With some simple directions and a few map quest searches, I don't think there would be any issues.

It is a go for us.

Islandman......... Family reunion, planned for over a year, the only event on the calender for july.Week end to week end I know where I would rather be ! Ah the sacrifices I make for God and country. The T-Bird comes out of storage this week and it looks like some good weather and I look forward to seeing fellow members in the future, but we will miss THE EVENT.
