I'm Patrick, and am looking for a '63 Landau. My Dad had a '63 in the '70s. it was a white car with red interior and textured black top (not vinyl). Standard '63 options - 390 auto, sliding column, AM, air/heater, pw, p seats, p locks, ps, pb, clock, spinner wheelcovers, and tinted glass. This was the first car I drove over 100 mph!

I really liked that car, and was quite upset when my Dad sold that car in 1979. He bought the car in 1974 for $450. It had a little over 70K miles on it. At the 80K point, he had the 390 rebuilt, and drove it until just before it rolled 100K. We drove that car several times to California and Nevada from Colorado, and it never missed a lick. I missed a chance on a nearly identical car locally several years ago, and regretted not buying that car.

So, I found this forum through the HAMB forum, and decided to check things out here. Maybe I'll find a white, red, and black '63 Landau yet!

Welcome aboard from another Okie. Nice looking one on eBay if you have the big bucks to chase it. Better yet.....buy a retro TBird and jump onboard the retro TBird bandwagon with us.

I've noticed! There are still two or three for sale at the Ford dealer in Jones, OK. I drive by there a few times per month. I like them, but I've wanted my own '63 since my dad had his car. Lots of memories in that beast!

I thought originally that this site was geared more towards all Thunderbirds, but that's OK. Who knows? Might end up with a retro car, ya never know!

Patrick, we have a '02 retro bird and a '65 flair bird. Squarebirds.com is a better source for the older birds IMO, but you couldn't meet a nicer group of folks than are on this site so enjoy it.
