You have a couple of folks (JerryP & KarylP and tbirdwalker) living just down the road from you near Gastonia, NC and I'm from Greensboro. There is also two from Kinston and Cary, NC. Looks like the Tarheel state is getting some more representation on this little ol' site.

You are just down the road from us! (we live between Mt Holly and Stanley off Hickory Grove Rd--just have a Gastonia address for some reason) We need to get together and cruise around!
You should consider coming down to Redneck Riviera in October. NC2k2TBird and Mrs will be there, as well as JerryP and I. Check it out.

Would love to have some photos of your silver bird. Everyone has been skipping over that color when they take photos of the new ones.

Ditto...and let me know if I can answer any questions concerning your new bird ,or if I can provide you information concerning any local TBird Club. If not already, then get involved with this or one of the local nests. You'll greatly add to your enjoyment of this fine car and find that there are no strangers when it comes to our cars.

Thanks for the warm welcome. My silver bird ain't really silver yet and it really isn't a bird yet -- it's an "on order" silver bird. Hopefully early October it will be an "in the garage" silver bird.
