Yea, My dealers body shop said that S.F. makes them look for used parts at 3 sources. I was there when he made the calls and couldn't find a used left tail light so he is ordering a new one.:naughty:

I was just thinking how we see so few cashmeres on Broken Wings and attributed it to superior drivers with superior taste. Now... my paradigm has been broken.
Sigh....

If you do not mind taking the car around the seats I think I can arrange for you to have a pair of cashmere seats.

Lonestar is not selling: he has this virus every once in awhile - I think it is the TX heat.

:backtotop In regards to the 57, I am curios as to what "Theft Recovery for Export: Repossession" means. Was the car stolen while at the same time it was undergoing repossession? From the pictures it looks real nice except for the non correct shifter and liberty with the interior coloring. Hopefully someone will pull this one aside so that it will be saved.

I would like to try to buy the 1957 myself. My family owned the Ford dealership in Jonesboro, AR from 1929 - 1967. We still have my grandmother's 1967 LTD demo that went all the way from dealer to antique license plates in less than 20K miles..

Our neighbor has a red '57 with wire wheels.

That is one really horrible car.

Is it my imagination or does it appear that an exceptional number of retro bird wrecks show that the bird has been hit in the rear? If true, it would be interesting to know what causes some many rear enders. I suspect it is one of the following
1) We are often just cruising slower than the typical traffic flow and supprise some faster driver not paying attention
2) We have better brakes than the person behind us
3) Person behind us is talking on their cell phone and not paying attention.

I am guessing it is some combo of 1 & 3. If anyone here has access to statistics on this situation, I would be curious about the answer.
