Ok, I'll get us started. Have several local DFW Ford events coming up and will post on their own threads. Also, the local DFW VTCI chapter is interested in us. :)

I know some of the others from around the state may be interested in posting events going on locally for them so please post.

And if anyone from a surrounding state wants to participate in something we post, just chime in.

I am a new member in the Northwest portion of Houston (about 2 weeks) and want to join.

How about the name just "Lonestar Thunderbirds" or "Thunderbirds of Texas" ?

O.K. Dot... Get us going and count me in. If I can drive up with my old starmist 57, then I certainly can drive up in Jeans 03. As you and George know, there are tons of things to do in North Central Texas and the environes, so lets get things going before we all die of old age.

I'll bet I could even get that "Big Gal", I've seen at the Stop & Go a couple of times, with the pretty Yellow Bird, who thinks they stopped building T-Birds two years ago, to join!

Let's get some suggestions thrown in - I don't want to do it all. I love tours. Sundays are fine with us.

I've posted car shows for the DFW area - they can be a starting point for discussions as you're usually stuck in 1 spot for several hours. If you go to any of the shows, bring a folding chair of some sort to sit in.

George & I will make the Ford show in Lewisville next Saturday. We'll also be at the show on Sunday in Mesquite. Both times with our 57.
but don't know about the show that's closest to our home in NRH on Oct 11.

Michael,
Welcome to the Texas group.
Will you try to make both shows???????? We will be at both with the '57. I don't know what time we will show up at the Lewisville show on saturday. We go out to breakfast most saturday mornings and usually leave there about 10:00 AM (Coit & Campbell at Southern recipe) so will be in Lewisville about 11:00 AM.
