Just joined the forum. Recently purchased a 2005 with 78,000 kilometers (48,000 miles). Live in Ontario, so it will be a garage queen until the spring. I purchased a two year 40,000 km warranty. Anything I should be watching out for?

It's amazing how little we know of our neighbors to the north. There you are - just a scant 737 kilometers away and I had no idea you were there. :puzzled:
There are going to be a few good days over the winter, don't be afraid to put the top down and take her for a run. Not much to look out for - if anything comes up, you can research it here before you take it to a Lincoln dealership for service. Enjoy!

Hi David!
Don't listen to that frail old guy with the Orange Retro, he gets a nose bleed if he gets over 100 kph! (He will try tp tell you it's Coral; failing eye sight you know!)
Why not check out our next fun event Pappasito's in January in Kitchener...no we don't drive our Retro's! Just a great gathering of a bunch of proud Rerto Owners who bring out lots of things about our cars to display. We had some great 1/18 scale die cast cars last year and original car brochures etc. It is a fun time and getting to know ya gathering! Oh, and do bring your better half most of us do! Check it out under the Forums under Canadian Chapter or on the home page under upcoming events.
While I am at it I should suggest that you consider joining the Southern Ontario Thunderbird Club www.sotbirdclub.org (http://www.sotbirdclub.org) there is a rumor that I was elected President, so I have done my duty!
Looking forward to seeing you around town!
