Attention San Antonio area members. The annual Pappasito's gathering was not very well attended last year as we got hurt by the weather.

This year we are going to try a different location:

Earl Abel's
1201 Austin Highway
Terrell Plaza Shopping Center

Saturday Jan. 29th at 12:30 PM for lunch.

I have reserved a room for us where you can order anything off the menu w/individual checks. They will hold the room until Wednesday Jan. 26th.

If you can attend please post here not later than 3:00 PM Wednesday so I can give them a count.

Why not come on over and meet your fellow T-Bird owners? We can talk about cars or politics or whatever is on you mind. It will also be a good time for me to bring you up to date on the TBN event in Kerrville in May.

Cliff, Diane and I are planning to attend. I was going to test run our Texas Thunder Leakey tour on Saturday but decided to bump it to Sunday so we could attend the Meet & Greet at Earl Abel's.

We also have a friend that may attend with an '03 Shadow Grey that he's interested in selling.

Okay, Charles & Diane, David, Suzanne, Bonnie & myself will meet at Earl Abel's on Sat. 1/29 at 12:30 - rain or shine. It's a small group, but it's a start. If anyone else can make it just come on over, there will be plenty of room.

Sorry, but no pictures.

Suzanne had to work at the last minute so couldn't make it. Just two couples and Dave. We had a nice visit and enjoyed ourselves. We have to call it a success since we had 150% attendence increase this year over last.

One funny - we all arrived about the same time and parked next to each other. As we looked around the parking lot there was another white T'bird. I though it might be someone that just showed up, but turns out it was just a ranbom restaurant customer. We tried to locate them but failed. I'll bet they got a little shock when they saw three more Birds in the parking lot as they left.

Expanding on Cliff's review, we spent about 2 hours eating and talking about cars, jobs, retirement, and how those that didn't come really missed something special.

We are having a big event in Kerrville in May and we encourage anyone that is not registered to seriously consider coming on down to Texas for a fun time!!!
