Registration update: 21 cars are registered for Thunder Zoo,on April16.
Five are new first-timers to our series of events.
One is a 1965 Vintage Burgundy.
Two are from out of Florida.

Great one day T Bird event with caravan/poker run. barbeque lunch followed by gifts for the poker run winners, lots of raffle prizes, goody bags, and a visit to the zoo for those who wish. Everything included in the $15 registration fee.

Looking forward to meeting all the registrants and joining the caravan for the THUNDER ZOO on April 16th at 9:30 am.
It will be a fun-filled day having a yummy bar-b-q buffet and touring the zoo/ botanical gardens with all the afternoon activities that are scheduled. [poker run, raffle drawings, and goodie bags] See y'all there!

For those interested I will have a little of everything with us that is in the TBN Store.

We'll organize another mini-caravan for the Titusville area Birds. I suggest meeting at Lowe's instead of at Walmart; we won't have the traffic lights to break up our convoy. A departure at 8:15 from there should get us to Casselberry by 9:30 (MapQuest estimates 50 minutes).

You better come to this event prepared to buy lots of items from Spence's store (the trunk of his Bird). He needs to empty it out, so that he has room to carry home his raffle prizes, and perhaps one of the great poker run gifts that Judy might win.

Of course, he will take orders from those who need delivery later, because they don't have space to pack up the items in their Birds after stowing away the goody bag, raffle prize and other collectibles.

You never go home empty-handed from one of these events.

The goody bags have been filled and labeled. 49 of them. Whew! Chock full of useful items. I weighed one - it is 8 pounds!!

Just a week left. Pack lightly, you may need room in your trunk for poker run gifts, raffle prizes, and of course, the goody bag. Detail your car, get an early start, don't forget your camera. A fun time awaits you. You will get to meet ELEVEN new T Birders who have never been to one of these events.

I suggest meeting around 7:45 am at Lowe's since Tom changed his mind to 9 am at
Publix in Casselberry. How many do you expect from our area and which end of the parking lot should we gather?

We'll meet at Cracker Barrel and try to leave at 8:00. Tom wants us to arrive between 9:00 and 9:30, for a first group departure at 10:00. The trip there should take just under an hour.
So far, it's you folks, Jim & Jackie, and Margie & I. I've printed up maps and directions for our proposed route to the Casselberry Publix.
Gonna be some kinda fun!
