They are all great, but it's simple to me. I look at each one. And the one I think wow... look at this.. That's the one I vote for

Definitely a great group of photos. I narrowed my choice down to two, and picking one of them over the other was difficult!

Not a single straight-on rear-end photo. I guess we learned something from last month's TOTM.

I agree with Darsi, there are some great photos this month but two stick out and choosing is not easy. Since I can only vote for one I hope the other makes a cameo appearance sometime later this year.

Thank you to everyone who voted for my picture! The honor is shared with Ray Reed (the Whisper White Pearl on the right) and was taken when Sue and I visited the Illinois Route 66 Museum with Ray and Debbie a few years ago (8-9-09). It is in front of a mural painted on the back of the museum. When we saw this mural we knew right away we had to "capture" our Birds in a photo in front of it. I have always loved to take pictures of my Illini Bird along sites down Illinois Route 66 and this is one of my favorites.

I wish everyone on TBN a Happy Independence Day and in honor of the 4th of July, I'm attaching three pictures in front of the restored Standard Oil Station in Odell, Illinois. It is of red (my), white (Ray) and blue (Harry Sharp - aka Quickdraw) Thunderbirds (gas station is a named National Registry of Historic Places 1997 - one pic is a shot of my Bird alone in front of the station). :usa:

Thanks again and congratulations to all the other entries this month; we were all winners. :wavey:

Great contest winning photo, Mike. It really looks super on the home page. The red, white and blue photos are perfect for the 4th of July. Good job my friend!
