my 05 T bird has only 13,000 miles on it. It rides very hard and you really feel each bump in the road. My tires are properly inflated and at such low mileage it cant be the shocks. I am thinking maybe because the car is so low to the ground they ride this way but not sure. Is this standard or might something be wrong.

What PSI do you consider proper??

Have you checked your shocks for leaks?

Have you checked you bushings? Even with low milage they can dry out!

when I decided to look for a 2002 t-bird, the first one I tried rode so bad I passed on it. I said no fairly new car could ride that bad. The next one was just as bad. The third rode pretty good, but wasn't the color I wanted. by this time I was driving anyone I could to judge the ride. Finaly I figured it out. On my local roads they rode like square tires. when I hit good roads or the highway, they rode like dreams. When I leave my house my rode makes my bird shake, rattle ,and roll. when I hit the main road, I smile again. I will say this thou, when we take our Lexus out, roads don't matter. It smooths them all out.

Maybe it's the typical cowl shake you experience. Not sure, but if this is your first convertible it's something to get used to.
