Daij,
It would be great if we could all get together one last time before winter (hate that word!)
Most of the shows are winding down, I'm going to one this Sunday at one of the State Parks down on the shore (if it doesn't rain). It's a fundraiser for the breast cancer foundation. After that, they are pretty sparce down here. Not sure what's going on with shows up your way.
Maybe we could all meet one Sunday for lunch or dinner somewhere close to you guys, perhaps Framingham? That wouldn't be too bad for yourself, George, Dave, Kevin and Barry (if we can track him down, he lives in Framingham). Those of us in CT. could be there inside of two hours. After we eat, we could take the cars over to Hopkinton State Park for pictures and relaxation. Let's see what the others think and then set something up.

Fall foliage road trip/cruise, would be great. Maybe further west to a more central locale for all of us. Lets work on it.

If you guys want to see western Mass foliage it better be within the next 2 weeks as it will be gone shortly after. I live in Pittsfield Ma (about 25 minutes from Mohawk trail) there are numerous gorgeous vistas for leaf peepers in all of Berkshire county. Let me know if I can help.

Daij,
That's great! When you know the dates of the show, pass them on to us, I'd like to come up. Did you get the car back? Is everything OK with it?
Jim,
I didn't realize the colors were changing so early out there. We're still all green in CT. I don't know if two weeks is enough time for everyone to plan for. What is your opinion on the absolute latest it would be worth doing this?
Thanks for your help!

I have a temporary commitment for the 12th. My son's unit is having a Harvestfest on that date for the families. But Columbus Day itself, MOnday the 13th, is OK or the following wkend 18th or 19th. The 11th, Sat might be too hard to get everyone together so soon. I'm game though if that works for everyone else. Maybe Jim can scout out a route and stops before hand whereas thats his "neck-of-the=woods"

I'd love to do a foliage tour! I think I'll miss it through - I leave on the 13th for a three-week stint working in Missoula, MT. I won't be back until Nov 1, and there won't be a colorful leaf in sight by then!
If it can be put together for the 11th or 12th, I'm in!

Well, of all the dates posted so far, the 19th works the best for Susan and I. Unfortunately, she has to work on the 12th and 13th.
Jim, if you're out there, we'll look to you for guidance and suggestions, since you are most familiar with the territory.

I am down for any date before the 24th cause I will be in baltimore for the weekend.
Dino- I got my car back and the gas guage doesnt work. I am fed up from dealerships so by this weekend i will take it to a friend to get it fixed since dealerships love fixing stuff and ruining other things. The doors was harder then we originally thought. We had three tries trying to bolt the new hinges on the factory setting. After the third try, we agreed this is definitly not a universal kit and I am currently waiting to hear from decah about it. I think they gave me hinges for a mustang instead of the universal one. The side fenders need to be bent in to allow space for the hinges. I am waiting on the company to see whats up with the hinges I have. Other then that, the nitrous went all well. Its currently set to 75 shot using throttle body activiation instead of the regular 'go baby go' button you see in the movies. I can say that I shaved a full second off in the 1/4 mile
I will post other pics soon but this what my interior looks like now :smokin:

Daij,
Glad to hear at least your nitrous went well. Man, that brings back memories. I put nitrous in my Trans Am back in '78. The kits were a little crude back then, nothing more the a bottle, two solenoids that were not adjustable, a spacer plate with injectors that sat between the intake and the carb (remember those?) and a plunger switch on the carb's linkage. You had to be careful not to cause piston meltdown. Was quite a boot in the butt though!!

it sure is fun to use but annoying when you need to refill it.
What do you all think for a nice meet on October 11th which is a saturday?
By the way Dino, Kevin, and Dave....I have your pics posted in my gallery. I didnt know how to resize so i just posted them there for the meantime. I like the pic of the birds with part of the gilette stadium in the background...looks neat. Wish I had my car there that time

Daij,
The 11th would work for me, but Susan is working, so I'll be flying solo. Guess she'll have to wait 'till next time! What type of event are we talking about? We don't have much time to plan...
I checked out your gallery last night, the pictures look good! You're right, the one with the stadium in the back is neat.
