We haven't been on a road trip since mid-May. We're getting antsy, so it's time to lightly pack up the Bird and hit the road.
On September 10th we will travel the Natchez Trace Parkway from Ridgeland, MS to Tupelo, MS and then on the backroads over to Florence/Muscle Shoals, AL. After a brief stay there we will begin our meandering thru the Northern part of Alabama with a side trip to Lynchburg, Tennessee to tour the Jack Daniel Distillery (we've never been to one). Then it's down to Huntsville to tour the Space Center.
On September 14th we'll be on our way down to Montgomery, AL as we make our way to LA. We'll leave LA on the 18th and be home in 5 or 6 hours.
