Hello All,

I have wanted a TBird ever since I saw my first one in 1956! I still can't believe that it has finally happened! My husband and I took an early retirement in 1999 and are living in Murrieta, Ca. after spending four years in Virginia. We purchased our Desert Sky Blue bird on Aug. 9 and I have had a smile on my face ever since. My husband has a 2002 Mustang GT that he loves but after driving MY Tbird over the Ortega Hwy last weekend, he had to admit that he likes driving it better than the Mustang.
I am new to the site and looking forward to all that there is to learn.

Welcome 03BlueBird and congratulations! I am new also and this is a very knowledgeable group here. They are very helpful and have great ideas, just read and ask around the site. Just don't get intimidated by Tonyv007!! It's not really his fault he was born in the Bronx.

03BlueBird - I love that drive from San Juan Capistrano to Lake Elsinore on the Ortega Highway. Great highway to cruise in a car like a bird or a motorcycle. Late 70's - early 80's we used to cruise down from L.A. over Ortega Hwy. past Lake Elsinore then over mountain through Idyllwild to Palm Springs then up I-10 and over mountain up to Big Bear down into San Bernadino and back to L.A. Welcome 03BlueBird and enjoy what this site has to offer.
