New interior colors for 2003 include Saddle, Ink Black and Whisper White. Perhaps all the color schemes for 2003 are new if the "Black" gets darker. I wonder if all these changes prompted the leather name change to Imola???

The same Torch red is available as full or partial accent for the 2003. It seems to be the only carry over from the 02.
Just did a google search on Imola and didn't find much - a number of times it was refered to as "Imola red" - a color. The only place it seemed to refer to a "brand" was for some Ford models.
Also did a search on Eagle Ottawa company - who were supposed to be the manufacturers/supplier of the Nudo leather - there is no reference to Nudo or Imola on their site but they did say a little bit about how they recycle their "beef" product wastes.

I seem to remember BMW having a leather
selection called Imola or sounding
similar to this. So it may be a grade of
leather.

Ok, so I do a search on BMW and imola leather and come up with "Imola red" as a color for the leather used in BMWs and someone's definition that the color is related to the color of a German race car named after an Italian race track. Interspersed in there were a couple of different "brands" of leather using the Imola name for a particular red color. We do know that "Imola" is the brand name being attached to the leather being used on the 2003 but I don't think it's related to the BMW Imola red leather since they only used the name in conjunction with a color.
