Select Shift trans

I seem to remember several questions as to whether or not 02 shifters could be fitted with Select Shift. The order acknowledgement I just got for my 03 states that engine oil cooler was added--required with Select Shift Transmission.
I hope this helps. Maybe both can be added.

The LS had the select shift and so does the
new hyundia Santa Fe. How is this beneficial
over the reg auto transmission. Is it suppose
to be quicker than just ""flooring the car""
for acceleration.

On the LS I accidentially knock the shifter
into the 2 gate a couple of times. That was
it for use. When it happened felt like had
taken the car out of overdrive or into second.
