Today I called the 800 number at Ford to request a current catalog (my dealer did not have one or even a clue how to get one). The nice lady there said it has been discontinued :bawl: BUT, the Ford web site is being updated with some new stuff and will be ready by 9/23/02 :biggrin: Get your credit cards ready :pbj::pbj:

We tried to pick up a catalog at our Ford dealer's parts department last week and they were surprised that they were out of them. Now it looks like there won't be anymore??:bawl: mUst be expecting the parts departments to use the web from now on.
We lucked out though for on their rack they had a XL tshirt - thunderbird script on front and bright blue 02 on the back.:biggrin: perfect for George.

Here's the Ford t-bird trunk liner, part # 2W6Z-6311600-AA. It looks better than the photo shows, the emblem is t-bird blue & silver, not white like in the photo. It cost me $50 after a 10% discount.:thumbsup:

The Ford Merchandise catalog base has relocated from Alabama to Michigan..... There was a big mix up with several orders and the phone numbers where not switched over in a timely manner.

They "lost track" of one of my orders - was cleared up after a week of calling two numbers the old that was disconnected and the new not yet in service.....

Oh well. Once the order was cleared up the rep told me that catalogs would be back out after the "move" was all finalized.... We shall see....

Just checked Ford's merchandise site (http://www.fordcollection.com/thunderbird-apparel.html) and the only thing new so far is the "look" and the fact that we're now
sharing the spot with the GT-40 though there is nothing GT-40 listed yet. Hopefuly they have some new stuff soon??

I ordered the lapel pins along with some other items. The lady said that the pins were on back order. The other three items were "supposedly" in stock.

I clicked on the Ford catalog as listed above but it only shows selected items. It appears that you have to know what your looking for in order to see it.
Is there a way to review all items in the catalog without asking for specifics? Like we used to be able to do when we got the catalog mailed to us from Ford..

MATBird - Once the screen has been fully loaded on you pc, click on the Thunderbird & GT 40 words. That will take you to the pages that has all of the items available for sale (and back order)....

ThunderBubba - they told me that the lapel pins "should" be available in October..

I received an email confirmation about 3 of the 4 items that I ordered on 9/23. They were shipped on 9/24 by UPS and they even gave me the tracking numbers. Of course the back order item was the lapel pins. By the time I get home Friday, I should have me some NEW STUFF :pbj:

I placed my order as soon as I saw the post from NC2k2TBird on 9/23. My t-shirt and keyring arrived yesterday. The keyring is a little hokey, sturdy but a pinch wire that slides into a clasp (kinda) on the back. Operation reminds me of a safety pin. Overall appearance is quality. The t-shirt is great!! Blue car is a little off-color but will get the point across, on a fairly heavy t-shirt.

I just ordered the lapel pins, as well as the 1955 Thunderbird Collector Series Pin listed under the collector section. Now we will see how long the process takes.

Woodstock, I think you should email ford collections and request the yellow bird on the shirt. I speak and bother a Crystal a lot. Also, I ordered Jerry the golf shirt and it is a light yellow with a bird logo on sleeve, you could wear a small. We could paint the car with craft paints. Or you could order more from Justin and have the right color! Didn't the shirts come out great, I want more. I am not saying goodbye, I will see you soon. cindy

Cindy, spoke to the woman who does the ordering for the gift shop at Ford World Headquarters. She explained that they usually don't have many yellow items because it is traditionally not a good seller in clothes. They sure don't know me well, since I've gotten this car, most things I buy are yellow. I've seen that shirt you got for Jerry, its a nice one, they had those at the gift shop, its easier for me just to go there than to order from Ford Collections. Love the thunderbirdnest shirts, I expect to see lots of pictures posted on this site with your new shirts on!

i talked with ford yesterday and the lapel pins are expected to be in the first week in november. the reason was that ford was only going to come out with 5 but the picture had 6 so they had the 6 one made. any way that is what i was told. when i check on my back order

Got my lapel pins in the mail yesterday. I was disappointed that they didn't come in a display type box, just loose in a plastic bag. The pins themselves are nice.
