2003 Pricing

Per Automotive News, Ford has announced pricing for the 2003 Bird as follows:

Deluxe=$950 increase

Premium=$995 increase

Freight=$555

I guess this basically covers the cost of making ABS standard, plus the increased horsepower and suspension changes.

Traction Control was only a $230 option on my '02 Deluxe, so the increase must be for all the other new additions.

Notice that the top price is just under 40K at $39,885. That's probably as high as Ford dared go before people perceive that it's overpriced.:nono:
