Thanks all, took some pics saturday of my new bird so hope to have them posted sometime this week.
Popped the hardtop off the bird yesterday, have to say I am a little disappointed at the scuff marks that I found under it, and since I am taking it to the dealer on Tuesday for the clearcoat treatment, I suspect it will be there a little longer then expected so they can fix the paint. Lokking forward to many wonderful topless days in the near future.

Well, dealer is ordering the new fix I pulled off the hardtop thread, and is going to buff out my bird (swirl marks from the lot attendants using a dry shammy) and repaint as necessary to fix the damage from the hardtop.
I did get a couple pics up on my web site http://members.cox.net/webrx just clik on the currentl samples link only posted two as I am working on a major revision for my site - might get it done next year :)

Welcome 'webrx'! Make sure you let them know who's the boss, when it comes to fixing your car. Hey, exercise the priviledge; you're a Thunderbird owner now. (kidding).

Welcome!
Let your dealer know that unless he gives you and your T-Bird the white glove treatment, you'll give him the rubber glove treatment!
I've had the paint and clearcoat repair done on my T-Bird recently, and I have to say, it looks like brand new! It took about 5 days for them to complete it, but if your dealer does like mine, you'll be glad you did it. It's well worth the wait!
Now, I'm just waiting on my new protective strips, and the hardtop is going on! :pbj:
