Greetings from a new guy...I just retired from a 25 year career in law enforcement at the end of the year and had to turn in my assigned commission (I thought they would let me at least keep my car! :naughty:) After 25 years of driving unmarked Crown Vics I decided that my next car would be a little different! So I purchased a Black 04 on new years eve and am looking forward to the summer.
I start a new career on Jan 5 and plan to enjoy my work related driving now. Anyone have a couple of extra garage stalls they are not using?? Not only do I have too many cars now I have a hard top to store somewhere.
Great site.

Welcome from me as well! :wavey: :bestwish:

Given your background, if you get the urge to put the pedal to the metal, and get pulled over, in your case, it might be a familiar face that would understand, and get out of a ticket!

Lucky guy!

I hope your new career gives you ample time to enjoy your new T-Bird this coming spring and summer! :pbj:

Dave - Welcome to the group from near Columbus, Ohio. There are some wonderful two-lane adventures to be taken in your fair state of Indiana, especially down along the Ohio River around Madison. Beautiful part of the country. Enjoy your beautiful car.

Welcome Dave. Since you are retired, you can hop in that new baby and drive to Atlanta for our 2nd anniversary on January 25. It would be a great time to meet and greet the originators of this happy nest.

We look forward to meeting you soon.:bestwish:

.:wavey: Hi and welcome to the "Nest", just remember to put the top up when it rains I found here in Florida that the "bucket" seats don't hold much water. Best wishes on getting your Bird.

Welcome Dave! I just got my baby less than 2 weeks ago and joined the Nest immediately, after George found me peeping in some inferior website and I haven't left here since! It's great here. I've already learned so much about my new Bird. I even got tips on what kind of wax to buy: (Maguiars) and guaranteed streakless window cleaner: (Sprayway Glass Cleaner), etc. I know more about the ins and outs of this wonderful vehicle than the guy who sold it to me! This place is full of information and great humor. Don't listen to the guys who baby their baby and garage it and keep their miles low, drive it to your hearts content. I plan on driving mine 12 months a year over here in Boston. That's why we bought it right, to drive 'em and enjoy them.
Welcome aboard new friend!

Welcome aboard Dave!! You're going to love it here,.. lots of interesting helpful ideas. By the way, don't feel alone in this weather watch waiting business. I'm crawling the walls waiting for nice dry clean streets even.
Oh well, 'tis the price we pay.
