Just want to say Hi!

I've only been a member/owner (02 T-bird) for a short time but I just wanted to say how much I enjoy the site and all the information everyone has to offer!
One example; I've already made arrangements with my dealer for at least one headlight replacement, (hoping they will replace both) thanks to all the information that's been posted.

if they replace 1 with a 2003 then they should replace both.otherwise you would have a mismatched set.

Your right, I'll have to really push the issue with the service manager. It would be nice if Ford just issued a recall since so many owners are having this problem, especially since the '03 design was changed to correct this. Taflocks, thanks to your original post about the headlights - I would have never been aware of the problem.

I'll have to wait till Spring - the Bird is currently "nesting" inside of a Carbag for the winter. I don't think I could stand the thought of driving it out in all of the salted roads we have here in Illinois.

Thanks rag2, I finally put her in the bag in late December (hated to do it)-just hope the "Carbag" really works. I have a good friend that restores cars and he recommended it. Just is'nt the same when I drive in the garage and look over and see a big cocoon!
