With a temp reading this morning of only 42 degrees I guess "topless" season is finally gonna pass:bawl::sad:

I guess I knew it was gonna come sooner rather than later..... I have tried to avoid it on a few cold nights - heavier jackets, the heat on 85 etc.... I guess I am just one of those die-hard convertible people that does not want to give up!:ugone2far:

It's still nice and warm here in the Southeast! It'll be perfect weather for top-down driving as we caravan down to Destin next week.:smokin:

George & I have been known to be out cruizin' in Washington State in February - temps in the 30s, jackets and hats on and heater full blast in our 57. However, we now live in Texas, where GOOD top down weather can be found just about any month so we no longer freeze ourselves just to get that top down sensation when the sun happens to come out.

Too cold? Not as long as it's 55 degrees or over and the sun's out.

I found my threshold was 51 degrees.

Two weeks ago I was returning from the Drive in movies - on the way home the temp. dropped to 51 and it was too much to take - even with a warm jacket, heat on 90, and windows closed.......

It's just a sign that winter will be here soon:bawl: It almost makes you want to get in the car and keep driving to a warmer climate!

 We will be doing that exact thing in about 5 or 6 years when I retire. Moving to Florida. Right now the hard top will be back on after we get back from Destin.:pbj:

Was out yesterday morning 57 degress with the top down, just don't want to give it up. Of course, I had the heat cranked up to 90, people looked at me like I was nuts!

Unlike most of you, I'm planning on taking the hardtop off my bird after 4 1/2 months of brutal heat tomorrow night. The evenings are just starting to become quite pleasant again, and I want to get prepped for our little road trip next Friday!

Just 10 more days!

See ya!

It was 39 when I left for work this morning - I guess I must give up - At least it was fun while it lasted!

And the car will look twice as sharp with the performance white top in place!!!!!!
