Mike , congratualtions on your new TBird and welcome to this forum.
We have a bunch of great people here. a very active forum with lots of great info about the car, fun car oriented events, tips for caring and maintaining, products you can buy for yourself or your car, etc. etc. etc.
So just sit back browse the dozens of existing forums and "catch up"....and in the meanitme ask questions, chime in and have fun.
Where are you from....we have a lot of fun events in and around Atlanta and the Southeast and members in other parts of the country do also.

I totally agree with MATBird. The front liscense plate. It is a law here in WA., so that is one I thought I would just break. I removed the front liscense plate and bracket, and now, I have 2 holes in the bumper where the bracket once was.
I think they should have given the buyer the option of having the bracket installed.
Welcome.

When I bought mine, I hid the bracket, took it home. In Texas, it is law to have the front plate, but I have decided to take the chance and pay the $50.00 fine!

The sales guy at my dealer showed me the front of the car and said "It looks a lot nicer without a front license plate." I happen to agree. It's the law to have one in Virginia, but cmilesrn, I'm with you. I'll roll the dice and pay the fine if any police officer decides it's a big enough deal to write a ticket for it.
