Thunderama 2004 - Portsmouth, NH

Back on June 8th - ( Ref. Post title "2 Big All Ford Shows", post #18) Bird 03, Wes, mentioned that there was an all vehicle car show in Portsmouth, NH on 6-27, at Strawberry Banke. There will be 100- point concours judging, of Thunderbirds from 1955 to 2003

I am planning to attend and sent Wes a PM. Is anyone in MA/NH going? We could meet and caravan in. If you haven't read the postings, then I know it may be kind of late, but it may be a great day up there on Portsmouth Harbor.

Weather promises to be great tomorrow for this event. :worship: So far I've heard from both Bird 03 and GreyThunder and they will be there.
So, if anyone else in MA/NH/RI/ME/VT want to take a nice ride, come join us for Thunderama.
Haven't heard from TBIRDY (Patti) lately. Not even postings. Hmmmmm.

What a great day. 78 degrees and breezy. There were about 15 "Early Birds" and plenty of "big" Birds. Then there were all other cars, probably a total of 75-100
And, from TBN there was Bird 03 (red) Wes, GreyThunder (grey) Kevin, and MATBird (black) George - as well as other 2002/2003's 1 black, 1 red, and 1 yellow. All were asked to join.

An interesting note on the 2002 Yellow bird. He works at a dealer and uses dealer plates, so it has never been registered. He says it came in with the chrome hood scoop bezel. Has anyone ever heard of that happening on 2002 cars other than the Nieman Marcus? :puzzled:

It was great to see you again George and Kevin too.

If anyone doesn't know it by now, George is the best ambassador to TBN that we could have in New England. He always out smoozing the crowd and handing out his very professional looking TBN business cards trying to get new Bird owners interested in our site.

He's also willing to take all the pictures when the rest of us can't be bothered. The only thing he hasn't mastered is the uploading of photos to the site so here goes:

Group shot left to right---Yellow bird was a dealer car that has yet to be registered, Red bird was a couple that the wife said she didn't want a computer in the house (sorry no recruitment there), my Red bird03, George's Black bird, and Kevin's MSG.

Thanks for your kind words. I am getting some data for that Yellow Bird so maybe they'll join, TBN, us.

I just heard the news from Marc, a fellow we met there with his unique Yellow Bird. Hopefully he may join us soon. And, he may come to Rodman Ford as well. :tbn:
