Thunderbird of The Month photos from the past

Due to the TBN's various server changes over the past 2 years, we've lost many of our old photos. However, I collect, including photos, for "history" purposes. Which means, I have samples of all our past Thunderbird of the month photos & the winners as I hate to lose that part of our TBN history.

For those of you that are new to TBN in the last year, you never did get to see our first winners photos so I set up a jpeg just like the current thumbnail jpeg of this year's winners. As the years go by, if I'm still around following the TBN, I'll add the photos in the same format on this thread - if it still exists in a year's time :rolleyes:

The first jpeg is the winners for the 2002-2003 year - the TBN's first year in existence. The contest wasn't started until mid-November 2002 so there were only 8 winners the first year. The contest was originally started by JustinS. If you haven't noticed, if a member has been a winner in the past, their win is noted under their avatar.

Note the January 2002-03 red car. "Golftoday" was the late Lou Fries whom we honored at BMS during Thunder Fever and that was his red car. I guess Lou had the very first TBOTM. His son John now drives the car.

Also remember Archie's stunning photograph of 15Again's red car on Lou's lap at BMS. This brings back a lot of memories!

dot... have you ever considered puting your web site into book form? i personaly would get one. i think there are places that print the books to order so there is a minamal up front cost. i just think it would be a valuable resource for us later when trying to get info and parts for the cars.

Here's the winners from TBN year 2005-2006

That makes the 4th year that the contest was run.

Number 5 year will end with the July 07 contest.

With the server change last fall, we lost many of the gallery photos but attachments were not lost, thus this thread's photos still exist on the site.
