Start now - Here's the rules if you haven't read them on past threads:
Note submission numbers: First 10 photos submitted.

Submissions open now thru September 25 - only 5 1/2 days, or when first 10 entries are submitted.

First 10 people to enter a picture of their Thunderbird get to participate.
Must Be a Member
Must have a gallery with 3 or more photos
Picture entered must be in your gallery
Cannot be a previous winner (until further notice)
One photo per member

If you need help submitting your photo, let me know via a pm.

I'll be looking forward to seeing all your entries.

Hint on submissions - Be sure the photo is in your gallery first. When submitting your photo to this thread, click on the "post reply" to start with, then click on the "my photos" "select" link underneath the smilies on the right. ( a small gallery with your thumbnail photos will pop up.) Then click on the thumbnail of the photo in your gallery that you want to submit. then post your reply. That's all there is to it.

Ethical behavior is no controversy during voting for the TOTM - particularly on the poll thread. That includes no campaigning for or against a particular picture on this thread.

I know it's been in fun but it leads to disaster as we saw here many months ago.

We're especially pleased because we had a difficult decision when picking our car. We'd been looking since Ford brought it back but couldn't decide on the color. I remember at the end of 2003, we heard they were going to be making the Merlot color, which really appealed to us.

We put the purchase on the back burner until just this past month when we began in ernest to look again. We went back and forth on color, and were about to buy a PCR sight unseen (which kind of made Joe nervous as he's really the car buff - I would have taken the leap of faith) when we found the Merlot with Merlot soft top. We fell in love, and then had another quick "almost" change of mind when we saw the silver one in the showroom! But in the end, the Merlot was the one for us as we are very partial to that color in general.

We've really been enjoying driving around in it and are so happy we broke down finally and gave in :pbj:

Most of all, we're thrilled we found this website, where many people helped us the week we were about to purchase, giving us great advice and interesting perspectives. We have to say this is one of the most friendly sites we've ever found online and we very happy to be part of your family!

Congratulations from one of the NC PCR's. Don't you just love this site!!!! I would have sent the congrats earlier, but I've been spending the weekend at my 30th high school class reunion. Boy did I have a blast especially arriving in high fashion topless and the evening sunset glimmering on my freshly waxed bird! And NO RAIN for a change!!!! What a great night. Anyway, I just know you will love your ride as much as I do!!!!!

Thanks Libba! Your car certainly is equally as beautiful and worthy of a T-Bird of the month as well :mouth_wat . Like I wrote above, we really had a tough time deciding between ours and the PCR. My husband keeps saying we need 2 Birds - one for nighttime and one for the daytime and the PCR would fit the bill for sure (but that won't be happening anytime in the near future :biggrin:
