Didn't at least one of you have the Scotchguard Xpel installed on your car at Ultrashield in Raleigh? If so, do you know if they are still in business? I've been trying to contact them via telephone for the last 3 weeks to make a pre-Christmas installation appointment, have left 2 phone messages asking for a return call, and haven't heard a peep outta them. I can see that the last 5 days since the ice storm closed the area down could be a reason to not respond, but my attempts started long before the weather event.

HeelBird,
NC2K2Bird in Greensboro got it done. He was really happy when we met in Myrtle Beach. Where are you, Gary?
He went to Charlotte to get in done, I think. There is someone here in Raleigh with the franchise. I don't have the name, but one of the rental managers at Capital Ford knows. Apparently friends and he told me he could get me a good deal. I passed for now.

The xpel website locator gave Ultrashield as the name of the closest installer for me...the other one was in the Tidewater, Va area, but that's 3 hours from here while Raleigh is only 90 minutes. I'll keep trying!
Hope you survived the ice without any damage!

Heelbird,
I had the Xpel installed in Raleigh. It is a one man operation so he may either be real busy or out of town. He did a good job on the front of my car and definitely recommend him, if you can ever get a hold of him.
Good luck

HeelBird,
We were without power for about 3 days. It's back on now, but it looks like a war zone in places. It will take a long time to get back to normal.
Keep me posted if you get to Raleigh. I'll be at some of the Carolina home games on weekends. Maybe we can find a way to link up there if you make it. I think my next tickets are Jan 18.

I called again today, and got the answering machine...again left a message, so the clock now is ticking. I wanted to get it installed on the nose and sail panel prior to putting on the hardtop and heading to NYC for the Holiday Festival just after Christmas.
If you make it to the Dome, look me up...Sect 222, Row D, Seat 9...the game on the 19th will be my 222nd straight home bball game.
