Anyone thinking about this upcoming all Ford Silver Springs show. Its free for the first 1000 registrations. See http://www.nationalpartsdepot.com/silversprings/form.html for the registration form. We usually stay at the Hampton Inn just off exit 68 of I75. reservation line use to be 352 854-3200. This hotel is located across town from the Park, but we never could get reservations at the closer locations. Some us go up Friday and stay both nites 7th and 8th. The show is the 8th and 9th of Jan. We always end Saturday with dinner a Carmichaels, really a nice place to eat.

You beat me to the punch here, by quite a bit too. But this looks to be a great show.

Larry,
No sense of adventure? Its fun to wake up to find either howling wind from the North Atlantic, Canadian Artic air or snow from our Midwest sister states. Top down is most definitely out of the question from mid Nov. to April.

Enjoy, have a great time. Up here as you know 50 degrees is considered the perfect Spring day. I have been top down in the low 40s and loved every minute of it.

I've heard rumors about Florida hurricanes? Is that a fact, or is it just rumors?

Let's see, shoveling a few times a year vs 1) running from a/c offices to a/c cars to a/c malls to a/c homes in the summer, or praying that your house is still standing after hurricane Zeus........sorry, I'll take the shoveling.

No offense folks, while NJ may not be on the top ten hit list of "places to live", we (usually) get 2-3 weeks of brutal winter/summer weather while the rest of the year is very acceptable. And, as far as the job market, if you're in Northern/mid Jersey, Manhatten is only a train/car ride away.

The Jersey coast has become one of the hot real estate areas. I should have bought a house down there years ago. Dumb, dumb, dumb.
