This topic has been covered before on the other Thunderbird site so I thought I would give it a try here.
My 2002 Thunderbird is called Bruiser because of the slight blemishes in the paint.
My 1966 Thunderbird is called Surfer Dude because it is truly a "Land Yacht". A friend hung that label on it and it stuck.

I call mine American Beauty, because that's what she is. I'm thinking of attaching one of the bicycle badges, but I haven't found a suitable location.

Car taken the name Baby Blue
The Corvette took the name "Baby" .
Whenever went to a club meet people would
ask where's Baby. Since its rarely driven or
seen.
Before T-Bird arrived folks would ask if
Baby II has been delivered yet. So Baby Blue
came to be.

My wife calls it "Shiny Blue Race Car" since that is also the name she gave my '69 Mustang when we started dating. The Mustang was her favorite car... that is until the Bird arrived!! The Mustang was de-throned.

I call my t-bird Cameron Diaz after the actress. The Mustang that I traded in for the t-bird was called Heather Locklear.

Margaret - after my mother, she passed away a few months prior to delivery. She was happy I was getting it and she would have loved it. I name all my cars and trucks.

I haven't named my car really, but if I did, after a woman, like so many others have, I think it would have to be Lolita Davidovich, because she's a red, hot bird (as the Brits would say) just like my T-Bird.

I haven't even received my new 2003 DESERT SKY BLUE Thunderbird, but I KNOW I will name her! My red '98 230SLK Mercedes' name is Mercedes Macambridge! Is there anyone around who knows why? A '67 Dodge Polara we named Ermyntrude, "Trudy" for short when she was a VERY old lady!
