OK, I like the grill and hood scoop
treatment!
Who makes that and is it available?:puzzled:
Sent the seller an email. Will post when I get
a response.
Is there a molding or something down
the side of the Bird behind the "fins"??
"Thanks" for posting..:fordsrule:

Sure looks like a moulding -- from the gills back. Interesting idea -- and I think I like the grill too. Sure changes the front end.

Was cruising ebay today and saw this as well. I'm trying to contact the seller to see if he has any info on the grill. Will post if I'm successful.

Here's the response from the seller:
The Thunderbird is a concept car we created for the SEMA Show in Las Vegas.
All those components are prototypes and are not currently available.
If you would like us to keep your name on file we can contact you if these
components go into production.
Thanks,

I'm not sure I like the grille but it would sure be easier to clean!

I'm with you Hobobob. I prefer the egg crate grill. However I did like the grill treatment Ford did on the J. Mays car.

I just finished cleaning my car and I am with you Hobobob, too many squares to shine, but I like it because it is classic! Love your handle!

Here's something I've found to make cleaning my car (and grill) easier...our water here in Phoenix is very hard. When I'm done washing the vehicle (using Zaino car wash), before I hand dry it, I use the leaf blower (putting it on low), and blow out all the excess water from places like the grill, door handles, hood scoop, front & rear lights, chevrons, etc. Makes cleaning the grill a snap!
