Kids Charity Car Show In Orlando 03/12/05

A couple of folks have asked about my Camaro SS at the last cruise. Here's your chance to check it out and to show off your Bird in the process for a good cause. The 5th Annual Cruisers For Kids Vehicle Show benefitting the Simon Youth Foundation, Kids Home, Russel Home for Atypical Children, and The Central Florida Children's Home is going to be held on March 12, 2005 at Waterford Lakes Town Center in East Orlando. Last year over 200 cars attended the event that has something for everyone. Games, auction, drawings, photos, DJ, vendors and of course shopping the town center for the family. The Town Center has just about every store you can imagine within strolling distance from the show venue. Super Target, Ross, Best Buy just to name a few. The show is open to anything on wheels. This will be my 4th year at the show. Tom (My T) will be there, too. Come on out.

Registration and placement will begin at 7:30AM this Saturday. In case anyone would like to park with us, My T and I will meet up with whoever around 7:40ish in front of the Best Buy that is within Waterford Lakes Town Center. Around 7:50 we'll enter the show area and park. Hope to see some of you there.

What an Awesome Show!!! Claire & I, just want to say thank you Brian, for the invite. we were honored to be there with you and Tom for this wonderfully worthwhile event for the Kids. Meggie had a great time too. Nearly 400 georgeous vehicles of evry discription, shined to a tee. And a sea of Yellow to boot. It was 187 miles, round trip for us, and we totally enjoyed evry minute of it. The Door Prizes, Raffles, Auction, Kids Stuff, Gifts, Shirts and Photo's all accompanied with that beautiful Sunny Day you arranged, made it a Picture Perfect Family Day for all who attended your annual event.

It was a fantastic day to have a car show, and a perfect place to have it! I can take credit for the invite, but really can't for the show. It is a great annual event that raises funds for 4 Central Florida Children's charities. Glad you, Claire and Maggie made the trip. Ol Dave and Tom's where the only T-birds in the house, and Dave took home a first place award for his efforts on that Merlot Bird! Congratulations! Here are some pics of some of the sights and rides.
