Jim, the good news is they recognize the T-Bird on their home page. The bad news is, according to MotorTrend, the only Ford's of significent that will be there are the GT, Mustang Covertible, and the Fusion. Although they list "up to ten Fords", I do not expect a 50th T-Bird to be there. But........who knows.............

PS: If anyone here is going, Print your discount tickets from the above Web Sites.

Here are some pictures of Ford's that were at the Rhode Island Auto Show. I went this morning and not very crowded which made getting close to some of the cars easier.
Anyway, hope you enjoy the pictures!

Thanks for the pictures, Bruce! No Cashmere Bird at the show? Which vehicle was your favorite?

Ray,
Unfortunately no Cashmire Bird. My favorite Ford naturally was the Yellow and black Ford GT. The Shelby which is hand polished aluminum look up close like a 1,000 people left the fingerprints on it. The finish looked pretty bad.
I went there specifically to look at the new Lexus GS and as luck would have it it wasn't there.
My son and I had a great time since he is looking for a new truck and they certainly had plenty of them there.

Oh, so that's what Johnny Damon looks like, thanks for posting the pic. What kind of snowblower is that he's operating? Looks like a powerful machine.

thanks for the photos, Bruce. Interesting to see the steel blue with the sand interior.

I could get use to the steel blue, it does look very nice but I still think it would be better with the black interior. I'm still not fond of the sand interior with it.

Ford didn't have a Cashmere this weekend at the Nashville show either...

No, jordsdad wanted to order a cashmere and was going to travel there to see it if one was going to be there. I tried for three days last week to find out from Ford marketing if one was going to be at the Nashvelle show but they didn't know. Finally had to call a Lincoln Mercury dealer in Nashville to look for a cashmere Thunderbird after the show opened... by that time jordsdad had seen the TV coverage of the show and concluded there was only the blue.
