    Help needed after stupid mistake

    Hello
    this weekend i drived a longer trip for the first time to get New Tyres on on my bird
    the car started to smoke alitle and when i got home i filled up with coolingwater, but in wrong Place !!! I filled coolingfan hydraulics With water...
    Does anyone know if that oil goes to the transmision or how much i have to disasamble for cleaning ? Cant see it on the exploadingdiagram can only see two pumps, a radiator and the resavoar

      Not sure what the Ford garage does when they change fluid. I will call Ford service and let you know.
      Meanwhile, you might syphon the fluid and replace it several times to make sure you get all the water out.

      The radiator fill cap, 6-7cm diameter wide, is black plastic with an allen wrench hole in the middle that should not be used to tighten or loosen it. The allen wrench hole is there so the service department can strip (destroy) it.

                i read all of it, and Will buy a new thermostat so i know that one is ok too.
                i bought new ATF oil today and filled the fan-system after empteying it with the compressor carefully and leted the motor run for a fel minutes,
                tomorrow i Will change the oil agen hoping that all wipped cream is gone.
                Did also change motor oil and checked the cooling water.
                the day i found out that i was low on cooling water on My Way home the car smelled burned oil, alot of smoke came out of the exhaust pipes (not When drivning but When axelerating from 0 and 20 ) and i got a yellow check engine lamp

                  today it feels good after ben in the garage fixing with the car,
                  i was not happy at My self yesterday next time i must read the manual before and not after hihihi
                  but thats a part of the hobby Salving car problem :-)

                    Trust me, Fredrik. I've made my share of stupid mistakes. (I don't even want to think about the radiator in my long gone 1973 Tbird.)
